Oak Savannahs are also very important to animal habitat. Animals can find food and have a home here. White tailed deer


The White Tailed deer's latin name is Odocoileus Virginianus. The physical Characteristics are they average 3ft tall. The doe weighs 90 to 200pnds. The buck weighs 130 to 300pnds. Fawns are born with white spots, they normally wear off in 3 to 4 months. The interesting facts is that their a herbavore, they normally live to 10years. They can run up to 36mph. The adaptations are, they put their tail up when their alarmed and dash away. Also they normally graze on the grass.
